About This Location
Broken Hill City Library is currently operating in a bright, open temporary space on the ground floor of Council’s Administration Building (240 Blende St). Visitors get free Wi-Fi, public computers (plus gaming PCs in the youth area) and self-service print/scan/copy with mobile printing for quick pickups. Hours are Mon–Thu 10:00–18:00, Fri 10:00–17:00, Sat 10:00–13:00 (closed public holidays). The Outback Archives collection is temporarily closed and relocating while a new Library/Archive facility is built. Mornings are typically calmest for deep focus; afternoons see more community traffic. A convenient CBD spot for study days, quick printing and general library services.
